20 Dec / IRS Tax Return
The IRS is already stating that they will not be accepting a 2013 IRS tax return prior to January 31, 2014. The main reason the Service is siting for this delay is the government shutdown that occurred in October of 2013.
Shut down or not our firm has never been one to rush out a IRS tax return. Speed is not why clients retain us. We are retained for our knowledge, accuracy and integrity. All clients are provided with an engagement letter, and a tax organizer. Clients are also welcome to sit down for a consultation. Long term client relationships is our goal. Clients are quoted and charged a fixed fee based on the number of returns, and complexity of the return. Fees start at $350 for married couples who itemize their deductions and who file a return for only one state.
Fees for an IRS Tax Return increase with the addition of city income tax returns, multi-state issues, small businesses, rental property, investments, requests to have their children’s returns prepared.
