Charlie joined the firm in July 2017 at the age of 7 (dog years). He started out as quite the go-getter, making sure to introduce himself to everyone who arrives. He is friendly to everyone. He is our office pet.
Since those days, Charlie has taken a more relaxed attitude. There are days when Charlie decides to not show up for work. When he is at the office, he has been caught on multiple occasions sleeping under his desk.
Clients do continue to ask for Charlie when they arrive. Mostly we have to tell them he is currently busy with clients (sleeping). But on occasion he can be seen delivering the energy of years past … even if it is only for a fleeting moment. Charlie is by no means too old for the profession. It is likely that in his younger years he approached it with such vim and vigor that he just burned out at a young age.
But please don’t fear, we have no intention of ever firing Charlie. Even if he were only able to give us one awake hour a day, that hour would be well worth it.
When Charlie is not working, he spends his time at home sleeping. His preferable spot for sleeping is the front porch. Charlie despises long walks. He also dislikes short walks. Charlie does enjoy car rides and is even satisfied with a short ride up the driveway and into the garage. Charlie’s favorite thing to do while in the car is sleeping.
Charlies favorite organization is the Humane Society of Huron Valley . Charlie is the best office pet. Charlie enjoys sleeping, short walks, and hanging out with his human brother Jake.
